Mockler, Maria (nee Mattei) age 83 of Pompton Lakes at rest in Wayne on August 21, 2009. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson most of her life before moving to Pompton Lakes 9 years ago. She was a Housewife. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Mockler, Jr. Loving Mother of Ann Alessio & her husband, Pat of Pompton Lakes, Barbara Obeid of Pompton Lakes, Thomas J. Mockler, III of Pompton Lakes and the late Patricia Mockler. Dear daughter of the late Pasquale and Marianna (nee Festa) Mattei. Sister of John Mattei of Germany, Joseph Mattei of Butler, Michael Mattei of Paterson, Lena Schab of Saddle River, Rose Marie Luisi of Totowa, Patricia Iorio of Riverdale and the late Angelo Mattei and Maralda Sienkeiwicz. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii RC Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
