Obituary of Helen Cusick

Cusick, Helen M. (nee Thonus) age 80 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on August 14, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Donald E. Cusick (1984). Loving Mother of Donald A. Cusick of Wayne, Robert T. Cusick of Mansfield, Linda Frusciano of Princeton, Kathleen M. Cusick-Longin of Spring Branch, TX, Tricia E. Cusick of Longmont, Col and the late Maureen Cusick. Grandmother of Erin Cusick, Dan Frusciano, Heather Cusick, Doug Frusciano, Tara Cusick, Robbie Cusick, Katelynn Cusick, Donnie Cusick, and Jessica Cusick. Cousin of Frank Johnson of The Villages, FL. Also survived by several other cousins. Born in Paterson, she lived in Totowa since 1955. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Cusick was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and a member and past president of its Rosary Altar Society. She was Assistant Girl Scout Leader for over 40 years. She was a ski chaperone for the Totowa Board of Recreation for over 25 years. Mrs. Cusick was also a member of the Happy Seniors of Totowa and a member of the Totowa Boro Historical Society. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to the March of Dimes would be appreciated.
