I will always remember arriving at work and seeing Sharon with a big smile on her face as she said good morning to me...every day it was always there for me!
Sharon always told me how much fun she had on vacations with her husband and how she loved to gamble even though she might not "win big" it was all about having fun. She had so much fun on the cruises they went on that she said she needed a vacation from her vacation!
Her kids always made her so proud with the things they were doing and the jobs they had. Even though they were just little stories about her family the conversations were always good and funny...we were always laughing. We also always compared stories about our dogs and how much we spoiled them...but that they were worth it!
I will miss her smile when I go to work and laughing with her throughout the day but I will always remember those things in my mind and keep them close to my heart so I can keep Sharon with me even though I won't see her again.
Much Love to her Family-Kate

My heart goes out to you Pat, Kelly and Pat, and to the rest of the Tierney/Buttel family. Sharon was an amazing woman, and one of the most authentic of people. I can still see her smile when I close my eyes. Not only were we co-workers for many years, but we became good friends. The last time I spoke with her a few months ago, the conversation was pretty typical: her love for her family – she was so proud of both of you Pat and Kelly, for the great people that you have become…she felt like she and your Dad had done a good job! ...and big Pat – she was really enjoying life with you. I remember thinking after we hung up that day, how strong her love for you was and the friendship that you two have was so clear...something not everyone is blessed to have. I wish there was something that I could say that would ease the pain that you are experiencing right now. I consider myself blessed for having had the opportunity to know Sharon and to call her my friend. She will be sadly, sadly missed. God bless you all.

Dear Pat,Kelly and Partick,
My deepest condolences for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
I know there is nothing I could say that would take away the pain we feel when our lives
have been changed by the passing of such a wonderful wife and mother. I was not fortunate
enough to have met Sharon but from the many writings I have read in these candles and
from knowing Pat for so many years I believe with all my heart that she is now an angel
watching over you. We can consider ourselves lucky to have shared our path in life
with a person such as Sharon. Memories of good times and laughter is the best of what
we can share with each other through these difficult times. I pray God grace all of you
with peace , love, strength and with the certainty that Sharon is always close by, loving you forever.

Dear Pat and Family,
None of us can feel your pain but I am sure Sharon, as a wife and mother, would not want her family grieve to the point to forget all your wonderful times together. She would want her family to carry on and live life, be happy, smile, and fulfill your dreams. As this is difficult now, allow time to bring back your happiness and enjoy the rest of your family life that began with Sharon. You know she would want that. :) I hope you all find peace in your heart and soul.

To Sharon's family and friends,
My thoughts and prayers are with at this time of sorrow. I worked with Sharon for may years during my tenture as Controller at the Nomadic Corporate office in Virginia. Since that time I have never forgotten what a wonderful, smart and thoughful person her was. I was also fortunate enough to meet her in person in the N.J. office. She was as beautiful as she was kind and considerate. She always made herself available to assist me with anything I needed.
Sharon will be missed, but God certainly has a great new angle in Sharon Tierney.

My heart hurts...
I worked with Sharon at "the other family" - Nomadic. Although based out of the Virginia location, I had the pleasure of bothering Sharon on my periodic visits to the NJ office. Upon these visits, Sharon always greeted with two things: a hug and a question... "What do you want for lunch?" Always the mom, she made sure I did not leave New Jersey hungry.
It hurts to lose someone so young and vivacious. All I can do, all I can take away, is the thought that each day is a gift. Each day is precious and numbered. Sharon's passing reminds me, reminds us all, that it's best to tell those around you as often as possible how much they mean to you.
Sharon and her family (both families) are in my thoughts. Peace.
Harold

My Dear Friend Sharon,
I had the pleasure in working for Sharon for five years, I love her enormously, and I told her every chance I could get. Sharon was my shoulder to lean on, she understood me when none else did. Sharon has been a huge part of my life, and I will miss her terribly. When I left Nomadic Display, Sharon always made sure I was close by. We would e-mail or speak on the phone frequently, I would visit her house for Halloween with my girls, and she always appreciated that. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! It is hard to fathom why this could happen to such a phenomenal person, a shining star, the center of so many peoples' universe, the best of us. My 6 year old Daughter asked me “why God has taken your FRIEND to heaven. And all I could say was that GOD must have needed more Angels for the children; this is my way of understanding. I simply cannot cope with it any other way. No matter how much we all feel that we needed her here, she was needed that much more elsewhere. Sharon has taught me many things; she nudged, pulled and sometimes physically forced me in the right direction. Thank you. Sharon was the only BOSS-FRIEND that I knew that would let me bring in my 2 year old child to work; Sharon would set her up in the conference room with Barney movies and coloring books, So I can come to work. I will remember Sharon by the effect she had on people……Sharon would reach for your hand…..and touch your heart………My Dear Friend I will always speak your name…until we meet again.

To My Lovely Friend,
I am so deeply saddened to hear of our tremendous loss today. As I sit here with tear filled eyes I cannot help but feel a warm and endearing feeling when I remember all of our time together. Thank you so much for always taking the time out to help me figure something or other out in my 8 years at Nomadic and in so many other facets of my life. Your words were always comforting, strong, sincere calm and smart. Thank you so much for caring so much about my children from my pregnancies to birth and beyond. You always made the time to check in on us and to celebrate the special milestones in our lives. This is something I will never forget.
Pat she loved you so much and always said a better husband there would never be. Pat Jr. she was so proud of you and I will never forget the joy and love that she always shared when she told me the story so many times of how she loved to eat pizza with your grandpa everyday while pregnant with you. She swore you would a pizzeria one day! Kelly her baby girl she just could not say enough about the wonderful and patient young women you were and how proud she was of you. During my pregancies we shared some wonderful belly aching laughes at all of our fearless antics as a chid. She just loved to tell me stories about the the two of you from your toddler years to your proudest accomplishments in life as adults. You mom and wife loved you all so so much and she told all of us all the time. She was so happy being were she was in her life with her family right beside her. This is so sad but please know she will be with you always and she would want you to be strong for her.
She will sit with you
and sing to you
on warm summer nights
and she will hold you
in the coldest of
winter nights.
I will always remember her with tender, funny and loving thoughts. Thank you for sharing her with us.
All Our Love,
The Alise Family Maria~John~Mateo & Nina

I feel blessed and priveledged to have known Sharon. So many words come to mind when I think of the person Sharon is - warm, friendly, sincere, "real"..., but there are no words to express the feeling of loss and the empty space she left in our hearts. We can only try and believe that there IS a greater plan, and Sharon was called to be a special part of it. Sharon, it was an honor. You will be sorely missed. Shar,
As I sit here in disbelief I know that if you left us, its bc God needed another angel to watch over each and every one of us. You were much more than a coworker to me, you were my friend, or as we would say, my mom away from home. In the almost 7 yrs we knew eachother, you were there for me in all my difficult moments, whether it was to lend an ear or to give me that "everything will be ok" hug. Boy did we have alot of those :) We had a special bond that I will forever carry with me and cherish. Words cannot express how much you will be missed. I could probably sit here and write for hours but as I sat at your desk today, I saw a fortune cookie quote you had saved and it said,"Your smile makes everyone realize that the world is a lovely & beautiful place" and you did just that...
To Pat, the kids and all of your family, my deepest sympathy to you. You are all in my prayers.
I will miss you terribly Shar.

I still miss you and hearing about Pat and the kids. All I can do is feel thankful and so blessed to have met you, that was no mistake.
