Marino, Salvatore W. age 89 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on March 29, 2009. Born in Paterson, he lived in Brooklyn then back to Paterson before moving to Wayne 7 years ago. He was the Owner/operator of A & S Meat Market, Bloomfield for 11 years. After that he owned and operated the Beef and Bun Restaurant in Rockaway before retiring in 1974. An avid bowler, he was the original founder of The Hawthorne Goodtime Bowling League in the 1950's. At the age of 77, he was the oldest man in NJ to bowl a perfect game of 300. Beloved husband of the late and former Teresa Barone. Loving Father of Frank Marino and his wife Susan of Rockaway, Salvatore J. Marino, Jr. and his wife Laurinda of Wayne, Anthony Marino and his wife Donna of Wayne, Nancy Funiciello of Wayne, Linda Trafuoci and her husband Graziano of Oakland and Doreen Mayer and her husband Timothy of Wayne. Survivors include 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
