Obituary of Maria Caparso

Caparso, Maria (nee Mariani) age 77 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on March 1, 2009. Born in Pacentro, Prov. di L'Aquila, Italy she came to the United States in 1956 residing in Paterson, then in Cape May Township for 10 years before moving to Totowa in 2002. She was a Seamstress for Continental Coat Factory, Paterson for many years before retiring. Mrs. Caparso was a former member of the Totowa Senior Citizens Club. She lived for her family. Beloved wife of the late Alberto Caparso. Loving Mother of Samuel Caparso & his wife, Diane of Paterson, Joseph Caparso & his wife, Maryann of Clifton, Virginia Corrado & her husband, Keith of Totowa and the late Anna Maria Caparso. Grandmother of Michele De Naples, Stefanie Masi, Christina Oswald, Jacqueline Miraglia, Amanda Caparso, and Brandon Joseph Corrado. Great Grandmother of Allison Masi, Ava Masi, Tyler De Naples, Dylan De Naples, Samantha De Naples, Isabella Oswald and Nicholas Miraglia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM.. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
