Obituary of Salvatore Baio

Baio, Salvatore age 81 of Montville at rest in Pequannock Twsp. on February 21, 2009. Beloved husband of the former Giovanna Oliva. Loving Father of Vincenza Fiallos of Montville, Daniela N. Baio of Montville, Michele R. Baio and her husband Haim of Boca Raton, FL and Francesco Baio and Rosie of Woodland Park. Grandfather of Jillian Baio, Salvatore A. Baio, Ariella M. Baio, Arianna Fiallos, David Zagury, Edwin Argueta and Gabi Argueta. Also surviving are four brothers and two sisters all of Italy and many nieces and nephews. Born in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, he came to the U.S.A. in 1968 to Paterson. He lived in the North Jersey area before moving to Montville eighteen years ago. Mr. Baio was a Baker and Owner/Proprietor of Sal's Bakery, Fairfield for ten years before retiring in 1990. He was a parishioner of St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville. Mr. Baio enjoyed electronics, and he was an avid soccer fan. He was dedicated to his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Pius X R.C. Church, Montville at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum, East Hanover. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Michael J.
