Kawam, William T. "Billy" age 67 of Little Falls at rest in Little Falls on January 30, 2009. Beloved husband of the former Phyllis Comerford of Little Falls. Father of Nancy Kawam of Little Falls, Debrina Kawam of Totowa and William Thomas Kawam Jr.and his Fiancee Jill Jarrett of Emmaus, PA. Brother of Georgette Braga of Pequannock and Alaina Leddy of Totowa. Grandfather of Jordan, Billy and Morgan Kawam, Chase, Alex, Jesse and Eliza Kuehner and the late Joseph Dubuque. Brother in Law of Philip Comerford of Middletown, N.J. Son in Law of Genevieve Comerford of Middletown, N.J. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he lived in Brooklyn, then in Paterson before moving to Little Falls in 1973 He was an Assembly Line Worker for General Motors Corp., Linden for thirty years before retiring in 2008. Mr. Kawam was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 108, Singac, Little Falls. He was also an avid Golfer. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
