Well it's hard to believe how quickly a whole year has passed. It's hard to put my feelings into words, but let me just say that it isn't the same without you. When I cross paths with one of your friends the talk is always of a good memory and that perks me up enough to carry me through. I should get to more basketball games...

Paul VI Class of '85 posted a condolence
In Memoriam
Our Father up in heaven above,
Listen to our plea of love,
When you bless this world of ours,
From your perch among the stars,
Bless a man whom we all know,
Your servant we call "Mr. O";
For he is special to us all,
Because he has always heard your call,
To care, to love, to understand,
To always grab an outstretched hand,
He led us through each violent storm,
He held us close, and kept us warm,
When we were low, he pushed our soul,
Until we reached our final goal.
But now, O Lord, has come the day,
That we must go along our way,
So bless him, Lord, so he'll always know,
That no matter where his "children" go,
They love him more each passing day,
Much more than words can ever say.
RIP - Your "children"

Grandpa - I dont think I ever saw you in a bad mood. It's still kind of hard to realize that you're gone. I will forever keep the words you last said to me in my heart. You knew exactly how I felt. Thank you so much for the guidance you gave me and for being the most loving Grandpa ever. You touched so many lives and inspired students, and I hope I can do the same as you did...I love you.

To this day, I'm still in denial that you're gone, but the fond memories I have of you are not. You were incredibly funny and yet such an inspiration to all the people you knew and taught, including me. I think about you every single day, and I love you more than words can express. Rest in peace, Grandpa Joe. Give all my love to Grandma for me as well.

Dear Grandpa,
I will miss that you always spent the holidays with my family and me. You were the best grandpa a granddaughter would want. I will never forget the joke you always told me with the duck at the bar asking for grapes. I know you will always be watching out for my family and me and I will never forget you in my memories. I hope you have a good time with Grandma and have a great time in heaven. I love you. Rest in peace.

joe "o" as we affectionately called him was one of about three people in high school who affected my life. i remember a talk he had with my father. my dad could not understand how i could still be running track while i was failing two subjects at the same time[french & geometry} i had kitson. anyway mr. o conviced my father, which as you know being italian was not an easy thing to do,to give me until the next marking period to bring my grades up. mr o stayed on top of me that whole period, i got passing grades, i was happy,my father was happy, my teamates were happy, and mr o was happy.he was one of my favorites. and before pope pius closed i went back to visit many times, specifically to see MR. "O".GOD BLESS ONE OF THE GOOD GUYS.
