Obituary of Kenneth T. Busby

Busby, Kenneth T. age 66 of Passaic at rest in Passaic on December 29, 2008. Born in Trinidad and Tobago, he lived in Vancouver, Canada before moving to Passaic in 1992. He was a Billing Account Representative for the former Passaic General Hospital. Prior to that, he was the manager of a health food store in Brooklyn, NY and was an employee for Advanced Technological Solutions, Brooklyn. Mr. Busby was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Passaic. He was a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Defense Force attaining the rank of Corporal before being honorably discharged. He won the award of Best Recruit and Best Drum Major of Trinidad and Tobago. He was a member of Couples for Christ at St. Anthony's. Beloved husband of Dr. Elise Bourne-Busby of Passaic. Father of Kwayne Busby of Tampa, Fl. Dear son of Muriel (nee Bruce) Marshall of Tampa, Fl. and the late Leslie Busby. Step father of Nakeisha Hills of Roselle, Trinay Thomas of Passaic, and Charisse Torres of Passaic. Brother of Lance Busby of Brooklyn, NY, Lenox Busby of Brooklyn, NY, Herman Busby of Tampa, Fl, Cyrus Busby of Brooklyn, NY, David Busby of Toronto, Canada, Milicent Busby of Trinidad & Tobago and the late Stephanie Ottway and Arnold Busby. Grandfather of Imani, Nia and Damon. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers in law. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, (corner of Myrtle Avenue and Oak Street) Passaic on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church.
