Obituary of Frances K. Eswood

Eswood, Frances K. (nee Mascellino), age 84 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on December 11, 2008. Born in Passaic, she lived in Clifton before moving to Paterson in 1950. A graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing in 1945 she later received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Jersey City State College. She was also a member of the St. Joseph's School of Nursing Alumni Association. Frances was a Registered Nurse for St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson for 23 years. She then worked for a private practice before becoming a school nurse for the Paterson Board of Education before retiring. She was parishioner of St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton. Beloved wife of 58 and a half years to Louis Eswood of Paterson. Loving Mother of Louis Eswood, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Parsippany and Mary Ann Wiarda and her husband Pete of Green Pond. Dear daughter of the late Charles and Mamie (nee Murgia) Mascellino. Sister of the late Joseph Mascellino. Grandmother of Louis III, Brian, Brooke, Megan, and Tara. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Paterson. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
