Obituary of Helen Vander Ploeg

Vander Ploeg, Helen (nee Haring) "Van" age 78 of North Haledon at rest on December 7, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Vander Ploeg, Jr. (2002). Loving Mother of Thomas W. Vander Ploeg and his wife Theresa, Jill Dueltgen and her husband Dennis and Donald Vander Ploeg and his wife Dianne. Sister of the late William Haring. Grandmother of Thomas and Amber Vander Ploeg, Deanne and Darryl Dueltgen and Kristen and David Vander Ploeg. Born in Hawthorne, she lived most of her life in North Haledon. She was the Head Captain at The Bethwood, Totowa for over 40 years before retiring in 2001. She was an avid bowler at Wayne T-Bowl and a dedicated boxing fan, attending many fights across the country. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
