Obituary of Helen Catherine Tice

Tice, Helen Catherine (nee Scheidler) age 92 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on November 18, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Theodore J. Tice, former Assistant Fire Chief of the Paterson Fire Department. Loving Mother of retired Deputy Chief of the Paterson Fire Department, James D. Tice and his wife Hilda of Totowa and Mary Lou Carroll and her husband Daniel of Farr Hills. Grandmother of David and Douglas Carroll, Jennifer Orevillo and Christopher and Catherine Tice. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong city resident. She was a Clerk for Pelletts Drug Store, Paterson for many years before retiring in 1981. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
