Obituary of Frank G Longo

Longo, Frank G. Sr. age 76 of Haledon at rest in Haledon on November 10, 2008. Born in Garfield, he lived in Garfield for most of his life before moving to Haledon 22 years ago. He was a machine operator for Manner Textile, Haledon and was a service man for Benigno Tire Co., Garfield. Mr. Longo was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Haledon Senior Citizens Club. Caring husband of the former Marie Elena Nickas of Haledon. Devoted Father of Frank Longo Jr. & his wife, Nancy of Garfield and Gina De Marchi & her husband, Edward of Butler. Beloved step father of John Jaeger of Ohio, Derick Jaeger of Richfield Springs, NY, Chris Jaeger of Prospect Park, and Lenore Cammisa & her husband, Joseph of Little Falls. Brother of Michael Longo of Saddle Brook, NJ, Joseph Longo of Jacksonville, Fl, Lena Zybura of Garfield and the late Gene, Anthony, & Peter Longo, Mary Gelormine and Fannie Poletti. Also survived by 11 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
