Obituary of Carmelo Guarneri

Guarneri, Carmelo age 72 of West Paterson at rest in Paterson on October 8, 2008. Born in Gela, Sicily ,Italy, he came to the United States in 1973 residing in Paterson before moving to West Paterson 15 years ago. He was a Salesman for Roma Furniture, Passaic for several years before retiring in 1990. Beloved husband of the former Maria C. Ambra of West Paterson. Loving Father of Antonino Guarneri & his wife, Joanna of Wayne, Angelo Guarneri & his wife, Rosemary of Wayne and Marcello Guarneri & his wife, Michele of Totowa. Grandfather of Christina, Carmelo, Samantha, Anthony, Nicolette, Dante, Isabella, and Aiden. Brother of Giuseppe Guarneri of Totowa and Emilia and Linda Guarneri both of Italy. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and his beloved Pet Dog, Mason. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
