Obituary of Joseph D. Waterson

Waterson, Joseph D. age 82 of Davie, Fl. at rest in Weston, Fl. on September 5, 2008. Born in the Totowa section of Paterson, he lived there most of his life before moving to Davie, Fl. He was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office, Paterson for 38 years before retiring in 1981. Mr. Waterson was Director of the Drum and Bugle Corp. Cadets in Paterson, an avid horseman and a W.W. II Army Veteran. Beloved son of the late Joseph and Kathleen (nee Garvey) Waterson, recipient of the Gold Star. Adoring brother of the late Frank Waterson. Survivors include beloved cousins and cherished friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
