Obituary of Kate Barbieri

Barbieri, Kate (nee Fiorello) age 89 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on September 2, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Gabriel Barbieri. Loving Mother of Robert Barbieri and his wife Maria of Totowa. Sister of the late Anna Yodice, Anthony Fiorello, Frank Fiorello, Theresa Denequolo, and Victoria Ciliberti. Grandmother of Matthew, Justin, and Melanie Barbieri and Michele Grote. Great-grandmother of Alex Rodriguez, Nicholas Montiel and Matthew and Ella Grote. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident of Totowa. Mrs. Barbieri was a charter member of the Totowa First Aid Squad Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former member of the Italian American Independent Club and a long time volunteer for the Deborah Heart and Lung Center - Paterson Chapter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 A.M. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations to the Boro of Totowa First Aid Squad, Inc., P.O.
