Miller, Silvia "Chivi" D. (nee Ponce) age 49 of Clifton at rest in Hackensack. Born in Lima, Peru, she came to the United States in 1977 and resided in Paterson before moving to Clifton 12 years ago. She was a Social Worker for J.F. Kennedy High School, Paterson, for 11 years. Mrs. Miller was a parishioner of St. John's Cathedral, Paterson and was a volunteer for the Clifton Boys and Girls Club. She was a swim parent for the Sea Hawks Swim Team. Beloved wife of Leonard Miller of Clifton. Loving Mother of Britni Miller, a student at Villa Nova and Brandon Miller at home. Stepmother of Teshia McKenny of Paterson, Twance Miller of Houston, TX, Leonard Miller of Paterson, and Lamar Miller of Paterson. Dear daughter of Segundo and Maria (Guerrero) Ponce. Loving Sister of Juanita Ponce of Baltimore, MD, Yolanda Trinidad of Paterson, Luis Trinidad of Paterson and Sergio Ponce of Paterson. Aunt of 7 nieces and nephews. Very Special Cousin of Veronica Soto of Wayne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Funeral mass to follow at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson at 10:30 AM. Entombment at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery, Fair Lawn. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
