Alicchio Vita (nee Palmieri) age 73 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on August 7, 2008. Beloved wife of Gerard Alicchio of Totowa. Loving Mother of Kim DeFrancesco and her husband Joseph of Ringwood, Debra Rose Pavone and her husband Robert of Totowa and the late Marc Alicchio. Grandmother of David Dowd, Max DeFrancesco and Tony and Robert Rose. Sister of Anthony Palmieri of South Jersey, Thomas Palmieri of Washington Twp., Carol Ann Raymond of Ohio and the late Theresa Reynolds. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in West New York, N.J. she moved to Totowa 28 years ago. She was Co-owner & Office Manager for Marc Gerard Studios, Totowa for many years before retiring in 1990. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Association, Greater N.J.
