Obituary of Charlotte E. Hicks

Hicks, Charlotte E. (nee Gleason) age 92 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on August 1, 2008. Charlotte was a woman of Courage, Strength, and Grace. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Elizabeth before moving to Wayne in 2003. She was an Investigator for the Union County Board of Elections in Elizabeth for her entire life before retiring in 2001. Wife of the late William Hicks Sr. Beloved mother of Ondrea Di Micco of Wayne, William Hicks, Jr. of Lake Hopatcong and the late Joanne Lindemann. Survivors include 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, Passaic at 10:00 AM. A private family service will follow at the cemetery. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
