Fernandi, Frank age 63 of Hackensack at rest in East Orange on July 24, 2008. Dear son of the late Frank and Jean (nee Ardis) Fernandi. Father of Frank and Jason Fernandi. Brother of Regina Scorzetti, and Bea Laganella. Also survived by 7 nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Ft. Lee before moving to Hackensack 8 years ago. He was a Vietnam veteran who received many awards including the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart and belonged to the D.A.V. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society NJ Division Inc., Bergen County Unit (for Lymphoma Research) 20 Mercer Street Hackensack, NJ 07601 would be appreciated.
