I am deeply saddened by Danny's passing. I had known Danny since I was about 12 years old. I would often go into Doc's while Danny was working behind the soda fountain and his humor was contagious. I have many fond memories of Danny while growing up. The guys would hang out on the corner and pop into Doc's to see and joke with Danny. He always had a funny story to tell. I'll never forget the years we spent playing knock rummy in front of Doc's, in cars parked on the corner and across the street in the now landscaped property adjacent to Veteran's Memorial Park. Danny was an integral part of those memories and will always be remembered for his contributions to the happy times we all shared. God rest, my friend.

oh.. my dear brother in law. I was 8 years old when you started coming around..no one was more thrilled when I knew I was getting a "brother". My Uncle, my godfather. There are so many things I remember about him. My most recent was May 2006. My husband and I stopped by to visit before his deployment. I was so happy that he got to meet my Uncle Danny and share Army stories and laugh together. We sat around THE TABLE, and just had such a nice time. I will miss you always, think of you often and love you dearly.
