Obituary of Roberta Madden

Madden, Roberta Bert (nee Palmer) age 95 of Fairfield formerly of Albion Place, Clifton at rest in Cedar Grove on July 14, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Dennis Ed Madden (1987). Loving Mother of Lois D. Kelly and her husband Gene of Fairfield and Dennis E. Madden Jr. of Fl. Adoring Grandmother of Bruce E. Kelly and his wife Jane. Sister of Rita Paluch of Clifton, Walter Palmer of Gouldsboro, PA. and Robert Palmer of DE. Born in Paterson, she lived in Clifton for most of her life before moving to Fairfield in 1967. Mrs. Madden was a LPN for St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Paterson for several years before retiring in 1980. Mrs. Madden was an avid baker. She was devoted to her family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Recreation Department of Arbor Glen Care Center, 25 East Lindsley Road, Cedar Grove, N.J. 07009 would be appreciated.
