Obituary of Maria Elena Bruno

Bruno, Marie (nee Battagliese) age 97 of Little River, SC at rest at the home of her daughter and son-in-law on July 10, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Sam Bruno. Loving Mother of Marlene and her husband Donald Pasquine of Little River, SC. Adoring grandmother of Michael and Michele Ann and her husband Eric Marlowe. Great Grandmother of Allison Marie and, Macey Elizabeth. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Little Falls for 14 years before moving to Little River, SC in November, 1996. Mrs. Bruno was a member of the Glen Rock, NJ Bridge Club, The Jolly Seniors, and the Golden Age Seniors. She was a parishioner of Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls and a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, North Myrtle Beach, SC. After she moved to Little River, SC she enjoyed bridge, hand-n-foot and pokeno with her friends from River Hills. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Holy Angels R.C. Church, Little Falls at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 7-9 PM only.
