Lara, Paul age 65 of Wayne entered into eternal rest on May 31, 2008. Born June 2, 1942 in Peru, he came to the United States in 1967 and resided in Paterson before moving to Wayne in 1989. Paul served as an Honorary Special Deputy Sheriff under Edwin Englehardt and Sheriff Jerry Speziale and was an active C.E.R.T member of the Passaic County Sheriff Department. He was the owner of PM Auto Body Shop, Paterson. He is survived by his loving wife Rosina M. (nee Amabile) Lara, daughter Donna Morgello, grandson Jason Morgello, two brothers Carlos Lara and his wife Olga, Herminio Lara and his wife Elizabeth, four sisters, Sylvia Lara, Olga Cahuana, Orfelina Torre and her husband Pio, Alcira Tambini and her husband Anibal and many loving nieces and nephews. He touched the lives of many family and friends with his humor, support and generosity. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, Wayne at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
