Obituary of Joseph C. Romeo

Romeo, Joseph C. age 81 of E. Stroudsburg, PA at rest in E. Stroudsburg, PA on May 25, 2008. Born in Paterson, he lived in Paterson, then Totowa before moving to E. Stroudsburg, PA. He was a Purchasing Agent for Curtiss-Wright Corporation, Wood Ridge, for over 35 years before retiring in 1990. Mr. Romeo was a member of the Passaic Valley Elks Lodge # 2111, Totowa and the E. Stroudsburg Elks. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion, E. Stroudsburg, PA and a W.W. II Army veteran. Beloved husband of the late and former Carmela Cappello. Loving husband of the former Anna Swiatkowski of E. Stroudsburg, PA. Adoring father of Adele Baker and her husband Edward of E. Stroudsburg, PA, Cathi DiBenedetto and her husband Piero of Parlin and, Kenneth Romeo and his fiance, Kelly of Hopatcong. Affectionate grandfather of Michael, Kim, Joseph and, Edward IV. Doting great grandfather of Abbigail. Caring brother of Ida Vitale of South Jersey. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 10:30 AM.
