Obituary of Teresa Marino

Marino, Teresa (nee Barone) age 85 of Wayne formerly of Paterson at rest in Wayne on May 17, 2008. Beloved wife of Salvatore W. Marino. Loving Mother of Rose "Nancy" Funiciello of Wayne, Linda Trafuoci and her husband Graziano of Oakland, Doreen Marino Mayer and her husband Timothy of Wayne, Frank Marino and his wife Susan of Rockaway, Salvatore J. Marino, Jr. and his wife Laurinda of Wayne and Anthony Marino and his wife Donna of Wayne. Sister of Nicolina Spataro of Sicily, Italy. Also surviving are ten Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Born in Comiso, Prov. di Ragusa, Sicily, Italy she came to the U.S.A. in 1947 settling in Brooklyn, N.Y., then Paterson for many years before moving to Wayne in 2002. She was a Sewing Machine Operator for Various Coat Factories in the Paterson area for several years before retiring in 1978. Mrs. Marino was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U., NY. Mrs. Marino was an avid gardener, sewer, and a great cook. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's Church R.C.
