Vacca, Nicholas age 77 of Charlotte, NC at rest in Charlotte on May 16, 2008. Beloved husband of the former Nicolena Ferriero. Loving Father of Sam Vacca of Charlotte, Joseph Vacca of West Paterson and Stephen Vacca of Charlotte. Brother of Vincent Vacca of Cape Coral, FL, Fran Bosland of Hudson, Fl and the late Connie Darrah. Grandfather of Rosalie Romeo, Joseph Vacca, Ashley Vacca and Michelle Vacca. Born in Haledon, he lived most of his life in Paterson before moving to Charlotte 15 years ago. He was a Supervisor for The Garden State Parkway Plaza for over 40 years before retiring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
