Morano, Filomena "Phyllis" (nee Lavella) age 87 of Bloomingdale at rest in Pequannock on May 5, 2008. Born in Sulmona, Italy, she came to the United States in 1929 residing in Paterson for most of her life before moving to Bloomingdale. She was an Assembly Worker for Keystone Camera, Clifton. Beloved wife of the late Santo Morano. Loving Mother of Anthony Morano of SC, Sandy Morano and his wife Lorraine of Oak Ridge, and Ron Morano and his wife Diane of Bloomingdale. Adoring grandmother of Cheryl Ann Fedele, Michael A. Morano, Arlene Dancs, Michael S. Morano, Nicole Morano and Christie Morano. Affectionate Great grandmother of Michael A. Morano, Jr. and Leigh Ann Morano. Sister of Ralph Lavella of West Paterson, Eugene Lavella and the late Peter Lavella. Mother in law of the late and former Ruth Ann Boydell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Bonaventure R.C.
