Bruno, Melina Viola (nee Valente) age 74 of Nutley at rest in Nutley on March 7, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Bruno. Loving Mother of Jo-Ann La Barbera and her husband Ciro of Palm Harbor, FL and Anthony Gennarelli and his wife Rose of Nutley. Sister of Rose Sciancalepore of Toms River, Theresa Storno of Haledon and the late Gloria Schaefer. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson, then Haledon and Clearwater, Florida before moving to Nutley 2 years ago. She was a Homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Bloomfield, and she was a bowler for the Headliners League, Fairlawn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, Bloomfield at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
