George Kilsey posted a condolence
Dear Sabbath and White Families,
It wasn't until I was eighteen in 1978 when I first met cousin Eva at a 65th birthday celebration for my Aunt Mary Kilsey in Rhode Island. Her effervesent personality and infectious laughter made it feel as if I had known her my entire life. It would not be long before I would make frequent trips to Jersey to visit some of my favorite people, the White family. Each time, I had hoped to run into cousin Eva, because I knew my day would be made brighter. Her knowledge base and conversation were always a delight. Thank God for cherished memories. Her place now is in heaven where there is no pain or sorrow. This belief is what is conforting me at this time of sadness. May the Lord rest her soul and bring confort to her at this grieving time.
With fond memories,
Cousin George Kilsey

I will always remember Sittee's gentle smile, kind words, beautiful eyes, and endless affection. I remember how much she loved us all. I'll never foregt the fun holidays, Sunday dinners, and quite afternoons spent with her. A gourmet middle eastern chef, a loving mother, grandmother and friend, we will miss her everyday. Still, she was such a large part of our lives that she'll live on in all of us. Heaven is a better place for having her.

I first met Mrs. Sabbath when her son George and I were teaching at hawthorne HS. George invited me to dinner at his home in Paterson and Yvonne made a great Syrian dinner. Then realizing that I wasn't Syrian, she prepared pork chops for me. I didn't eat the pork chops and I ate everything else. I remember the lamb meatballs in Yogurt. She made me feel right at home. It was like being with my mom. Yvonne was surprised that I liked the ethnic food. God Bless her!

I will always remember Aunt Yvonne for her bright smile and for being the one to get up and dance at the drop of a hat.
She will be missed.
My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Earliest memory: singing at Aunt Lee's marriage to Uncle Mike. Times at Park Street; her friendship with my Mom; her strong ways; always ready with some advice: (to my mom) "When you get to our age you have to slow down, look down and pick up your feet." I'll miss her.
