Basurco, Frida (nee Rodriguez) age 79 of Totowa at rest in Paterson on January 16, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Augusto Basurco. Loving Mother of Alex Basurco and his wife Monserrate of Wayne and Sylvia Sytsma and her husband Thomas of Totowa. Sister of Angel Rodriguez of Puerto Rico and Elcira Arredondo of Peru. Also survived by 5 grandchildren. Born in Peru, she came to the United States in 1958 residing in Newark, then Paterson before moving to Totowa in 1994. She was a Seamstress for Q&T Coat Corp., Paterson before retiring. Mrs. Basurco was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. For more information, go to www.festamemorial.com.
