Jimmy was a huge part of my life as well as my family's life. He will always be remembered fondly. He was a great teacher for all of us.He lived his life the way he liked his coffee "full and good to last drop." He never had a bad word to say about anyone. Everyone and everything was "TERRIFIC"
Thank you Jimmy for always being there for us. Thanks for being our friend and a terrific "grandfather" to my son Christopher.
We will miss you greatly.

A memorial was held to honor Jimmy in Lake Worth FL on Dec. 27, the following words were read and prayed on...Those in attendance said a few words of remembrance and then released a balloon in his honor on the shoreline...
It has been said
“A well spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death
I think Jimmy lived his life even on his last day this way…
He woke up like any Monday, had a date with his sweetheart, got an extra hug and went home, curled up and took a final nap….
He was 89 years old…
It’s amazing to think that he was 9 yrs old when Babe Ruth hit his record home run, 11 during the stock market crash that sparked the Great Depression, He was 20, when the War of the Worlds broadcast freaked out a nation…23 and a soldier when Pearl Harbor was attacked…33 when color TV was invented…45 when JFK was assassinated…51 when a man first walked on the moon….and 83 in the new millennium…
He died on Dec.10, an ordinary Monday for most, but a day that is now part of our history…we all knew Jimmy late in his life…but for some of us…he was part of our history from our earliest memories…a friend by many definitions…a loving companion…a trusted guardian…a surrogate grandfather….
It reminds me of the saying “you can’t chose your family, only your friends…it seems Jimmy chose all of us to be both…He was an funny character with a generous spirit…he may have worn black socks with white shoes in winter, put too much hot pepper on thanksgiving dinner...but we all loved the squginogi for it all the more…
Let us pray:
Dear heavenly father..
On this day we celebrate the life of Vincent James Golino…
We ask that you welcome him with peace and blessings into his next dimension of existence…
Please transform the love and loss we feel today so that it may be the wind that send the sails of his everlasting spirit ever higher…
We know that love is all there is and that you are with us in everything we touch and everything we do…
you are here with us now and with Jimmy as he ascends beyond what we know into the realm of the infinite, where his soul is at peace and will evermore in our hearts and minds…

He will be missed and not forgotten...
