Obituary of Salvatore Lombardo

Lombardo, Salvatore age 63 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on December 6, 2007. Born in San Andrea in Calabria, Italy he came to the United States in 1955 settling in West Paterson before moving to Wayne. Mr. Lombardo received his Bachelors degree from William Paterson State College, Wayne. He was a Teacher and Bowling and Golf coach for Passaic County Technical High School, Wayne for 15 years retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Passaic County Teachers Association. Salvatore was a Private in the army during Vietnam and was an avid golfer. Former husband of the late Barbara Ann Lombardo. Loving father of Christine Wilson and her husband Craig of Lake Hiawatha, Salvatore J. Lombardo and his wife Bonnie of Flemington and Matthew J. Lombardo of Edison. Affectionate grandfather of Robert, Stephanie, Jessica, Joseph, Kenny and Andrew. Fond brother of Joseph Lombardo and his wife Marcella of North Haledon, Frank Lombardo and his wife Phyllis of Johnstown, PA, Mario Lombardo of Wayne, Aldo Lombardo and his wife Sylvie of Delray Beach, FL and Antoinette Cosentino and her husband Vince of West Paterson. Survivors include many adoring nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Monday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at Our Lady of Pompeii R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
