Giliberti, William age 96 of Totowa at rest in Totowa on November 26, 2012. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa since 1950. He was a Butcher for A & P, West Paterson for many years before retiring in 1982. Mr. Giliberti was a parishioner of St. James R.C. Church, Totowa and was a member of the Italian American Independent Club, Totowa. He was a former EMT and President of the Totowa Borough First Aid Squad. He was a member of the Meat Cutters Union Local # 464, Little Falls. He was an avid fisherman; he loved to garden and was also a handyman. Beloved husband of 50 years of the late Lillian C. (nee Petrosi) (1991). Loving father of Barbara O'Byrne of Totowa and Dr. William Giliberti & his wife, Joy of Hackettstown. Brother of Elizabeth Mulligan of Toms River. Caring grandfather of Edward J. O'Byrne, Kelly Baldi, Robert O'Byrne, Jennifer Giliberti, and Jacqueline Giliberti. Great grandfather of Jack & Lily Baldi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James RC Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association National Center, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 would be appreciated.
