Obituary of Concetta Micholas

Micholas, Concetta "Connie" (nee Carriere), age 90 of West Milford at rest in West Milford on November 10, 2007. Born and raised in Paterson she later moved to North Haledon, West Milford and Kinnelon. She was a member of the Internarional Ladies Garment Workers Union from the late 30's until her retirement in 1990. During the "heyday" of the garment industry in Paterson, she worked for several garment manufacturers including Larry Levine. She was affectionately known as "sharpie" by her friends and coworkers for her stylish clothing and style of dress. She was tiny in size but not in spirit. She has left us with so many wonderful memories of her spunk, sense of humor and loving ways. Beloved wife of the late Peter Micholas. Loving mother of Lucille Fulco Rehak and her husband Richard of Kinnelon. Adoring grandmother of Robyn McGuinness and Richard Rehak, Jr. Caring Great grandmother of Madeleine, Maris and Jared McGuinness of Chester. Daughter of the late Joseph and Palma (nee La Vorgna) Carriere. Sister of the late Nicholas Carriere. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Michael's R.C.
