Obituary of Joseph Hallock

Joseph Hallock, age 90,went peacefully to his rest in Wayne onSaturday, October 20, 2007. Born in Summit, he lived in South Paterson before moving to Wayne 51 years ago. Mr. Hallock was a General Foreman at Curtiss-Wright Aeronautical, Wood Ridge for 27 years. He then owned and operated Homestyle Deli, Paterson for 16 years before retiring. He was a parishioner of St. Anne Melkite Catholic Church, West Paterson. He is survived by Anna (nee Ablahani), his belovedwife of 65 years. Loving father of Hon. Joseph A. Hallock and his wife Dinah Hendon of Verona, Patricia A. DeNardiand her late husband Basil of Lavallette, RandyJ. Hallock and his wife Patricia of Wayne, and Thomas Hallock and his wife Carol of Matawan. Adored"Giddo"(Grandfather) of Alyssa DeNardi of Hoboken, Joseph and Stefanie Hallock both of Wayne, and step-grandchildren Samuel and Daisy Bourne of Verona. Also survived by his sister-in-law Alice Hallock of FL, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Caring brother of the late Emily Tahan, Anthony Hallock, Jennie Hallock and Rose Baram. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at St. Anne Melkite Catholic Church, West Paterson,on Tuesday at10:00 AM.
