Blackman, Helen (nee Allen) age 87 of River Edge at rest in Wayne on October 1, 2007. Born in Lakewood, she was a lifelong resident of River Edge. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of River Edge. Beloved wife of the late James W. Blackman. Mother of the late Allen G. Blackman. Mother-in-law of Linda Blackman of Totowa. Grandmother of Patricia, Suzanne, James, Christi and David. Great-grandmother of Jessica and Kenneth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Toms River. Friends may call Thursday 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
