Obituary of Margaret Fierro

Fierro, Margaret (nee Spring), age 83 of Cedar Grove, passed away surrounded by all her children in Cedar Grove on September 3, 2007. Devoted wife of the late Nicholas P. Fierro. Loving Mother of Peggy Cofrancesco of Sparta and her husband the late Peter J. Jr., Nick Fierro and his wife Cindy (nee Flak) of Totowa, Debra Fierro and Catherine Brown of Staten Island, NY, Patricia Rizzo and her husband John of Ridgewood, Kate D'Apolito and her husband T.J. of Wayne, John Fierro and his wife Sissy of Ogdensburg. Adoring Grandmother of Peter Cofrancesco, III and his wife Carmen, Daria Koster and her husband Ron, Jason Cofrancesco and his wife Vickie, Jarrod Cofrancesco and his wife Rosemarie, Nicholas and Patrick Fierro, Carlin and Emily Rizzo, Justin, Zachary, Anthony, Nicholas D'Apolito, Kaitlyn and John Fierro. Affectionate Great grandmother of Ireland, Peter, Emma, Margaret, Nicholas and Jarrod. Sister of Joseph Spring of Hialeah, FL and James Spring of Spring Lake. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for most of her life before recently moving to Wayne. Mrs. Fierro was an Administrative Employee for A&P Supermarket, Montvale, for 14 years before retiring in 1992. Most of all she was a devoted homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Georges R.C. Church, Paterson and its Rosary Society. In addition, she was a county committee woman in Paterson. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 12:15 PM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson at 1:00 PM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
