Hi Josie, I say that as if you were alive, well you are. You are in our hearts forever.
You were a loving mother to Mae and I, a wonder sister, a dear aunt to all your nieces and nephews, and a kind friend to each and everyone you met. You were impeccable.
I will miss you dearly. I will always love you. Your Brother Angelo

Aunt Josie, I don’t remember a lot of things as a little kid, but I do have wonderful childhood memories of visiting with you on Sundays with my dad. Even when I visited with you recently you would always ask “how is Kelly and “give my love. It’s not just me, that you given such great memories to; your love touched the lives of so many others and gave them the gift of many happy memories too. We will miss you

Aunt Jo,
When others would tell me that they felt sorry for me because I never had a grandmother- I told them that I felt sorry for them because they never had you! You were more to me than any grandma could ever have been and I am so blessed to have had you in my life. You were an inspiration of pure and unconditional love to me and you will be with me in my heart every day of my life. I love you so very much. Until we are together again- Rest in Peace.

Aunt Josie was a wonderful woman who will be missed dearly. She reminded me a lot of little mama and I remember, as my sisters do as well, standing next to her and little mama to see who was taller. The warmth and love they exuded is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Even as a kid whenever I or anyone else spoke to them they would always clasp their hand around yours, 1 hand underneath and 1 hand on top. I know that little mama and Aunt Josie are now together again, clasping each others hand as they are looking down on us.

My Little Aunt Josie, know that you will always be in our hearts. Your soft voice, your warm hands that held ours when we talked, and the way you would hold on tight when we hugged hello and goodbye, are memories that will last forever. Say hello to Mama, tell my Grandfather I think of him every day. Kiss my Aunts for me. You will be missed, but we know you are with God and family. Love you always.

I remember her great big smile and that she would always hold your hand every time she would talk to you. As a kid I use to be so happy to see Little Aunt Josie and Little Mamma and stand next to them to see which one of us was the tallest. You will be missed.

"Little Aunt Josie"...that is who she always was to me and my family. She was full of love and life and was always smiling. I remember she always had those little chocolate candies with the white sprinkles for us whenever she visited her. With "Little Aunt Josie" you always knew--family came first. I will miss her, but know that she is with her sister, my little mama, and they are sitting together holding hands in heaven.

Aunt Josie was an angel. That says it all. She was obedient to the Lord Jesus. And she was dedicated to her entire family. She had a big beautiful smile for her relatives, a huge hug and wonderful words of Love. She was a model of sainthood. I will miss her.

I only met Aunt Josie last Christmas at Phil and Elaine's. I will always remember what a beautiful spirit she is, and how very fortunate I was to have met her. To be in the presence of a person with unconditional love for everyone is a an honor. She is no doubt in her special place right next to the Lord.
