Obituary of Rose E. Rocca

Rocca, Rose E. (nee Tilli) of Paterson at rest in Wayne on July 31, 2007. Born in Paterson, NJ she was a lifelong city resident. She was employed by Pilot Instruments then Millburn Stores before she became the secretary for Continental Can Co., Paterson for 25 years before retiring in 1972. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson and a member of its Seniors Club. She was a member of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, Browns Mills, NJ. She enjoyed ice skating, bowling, and traveling. She also enjoyed visits to Atlantic City. Mother of Patrick L. Rocca and his wife Eliane of Paterson and the late Robert L. Rocca. Beloved grandmother of Susan Carchia and Michael L. Rocca. Cherished great-grandmother of Julia Rose Carchia and Timothy J. Rocca. Sister of Helen Milano of Jackson, Amelia Lembo of Hawthorne and the late Anna Vivino, Lena, James and Joseph Tilli. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Friday at 9:00 A.M. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 9:30 A.M. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
