Lauritano, Marie (nee DiFalco), age 89 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on February 27, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Alphonso E. Lauritano (2000). Loving mother of Scott Lauritano of Paterson and Marc Lauritano of Paterson. Devoted daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Giuseppina (nee Erreddia) DiFalco. Dear sister of the late George DiFalco and his wife, Belle DiFalco and the late Virginia DiFalco. Dear aunt of Douglas DiFalco & his wife Linda. Devoted godmother of Linda Tomesko, Karen McIntyre, Silvia Dias, and Charles Festa. Lifelong friend of the late Rose Mary Festa and Angelina Armstrong. Born in Paterson, she was a lifelong resident. Marie graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Paterson in 1955 and was a Registered Nurse for St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson, then Dr. Herbert Farber, Paterson, then was a school nurse for Ramapo High School and Indian Hills High School. After the birth of her son, Marc, she went back to work for the employee health unit of Hoffmann-La Roche, Nutley, then for St. Mary's Hospital, Passaic before retiring. She was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson, and had a devotion to St. Jude. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday 4-8 PM.
