Rice, Alexis (nee Kidd), age 68 of Hamburg, on December 19, 2023.  Loving mother of Stacy Castillo & her fiancé, Hector Tiul of Hamburg and Christopher D. Rice of Wantage.  Alexis is survived by the father of her children, David Rice of Wantage.  Dear sister of Debra Payne of Pompton Plains, and the late David Kidd (2023) and the late Karl Kidd (1981).  Devoted grandmother of Brandon D. Castillo-Rice, Rosita Flora Castillo-Rice, Braelyn C. Tiul-Rice and Hector A. Tiul-Rice Jr. Born in Paterson, she lived in Paterson for 30 years, then in Clifton before moving to Wantage in 1988, then to Hamburg last year. Alexis was a homemaker.  She was an animal lover, and was also a pack leader of the Cub Scouts in Wantage.  She helped raise her grandchildren for over 15 years and were considered "honey" to them.  Alexis had a smile that would light up a room and she loved her family very much and her son, Christopher was her entire life.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Tuesday at 12:00 noon.  Visitation will also be on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon.  Cremation will be private at the request of the family.  Her cremains will be interred in her family plot at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
