Reda, Margaret Rose (nee Cappello), age 92 of Wayne at rest on April 5, 2024. Beloved wife of William A. Reda. Dear mother of Richard Reda and his wife Stephanie. Grandmother of Olivia and R.J. Reda. Sister of the late John Cappello, Virginia Cappello, and Mary Ann Robb. Aunt of Patty Bilynsky and John Robb. Born in Paterson, she lived most of her life in Wayne. She was the Principal of Martha B. Day School, Bloomingdale for thirty-seven years before retiring. She was a member of NJEA and a long-time parishioner of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes. Margaret graduated from William Paterson College, Wayne, where she met her husband William and was on the varsity fencing team. Viewing will take place on Wednesday 4-8 PM at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Pompton Lakes at 10:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis Tenn. 38501 would be appreciated.
