Cruz, Martina (nee Aponte), age 92 of Paterson at rest in Paterson on March 23, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Jacinto Cruz (1988). Loving mother of Maria Torres and her husband Jose and the late Angel Cruz and the late Jose Cruz. Dear grandmother of Mariana Torres, Chantel Alva and her husband Jeorge, Delores Torres and Angel Cruz. Great-grandmother of Jasmin Abadia, Angelica Alva, Jeorge Alva and Aria Cruz. Sister of Toña, Tita, Chafiro, Tonito, Anita and the late Noni and the late Toti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, she came to the mainland in 1959, residing in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Paterson. She was a homemaker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 12:00 PM. Funeral Blessing to follow at St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson at 12:30 PM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 10-12 PM.
