Obituary of Luzmila Sanchez

Sanchez, Luzmila (nee Sanchez Valverde), age 101 of Prospect Park at rest in Paterson on September 26, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Pedro Clavo Delgado. Loving mother of Teofilo Clavo Sanchez, Adalberto Clavo Sanchez, Ebe Clavo Sanchez and the late Marcos Clavo Sanchez, and the late Cira Clavo Sanchez. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Born in Chiclayo, Peru, she came to the United States in 1980 residing in Paterson for 10 years, then in Prospect Park. She was a Custodian for State Farm, Verona, before retiring. She was a hard worker who fought to the end. She loved the kitchen, passing down all her knowledge to her children. She was a very noble, friendly and charitable person. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Thursday 4-8 PM.
