Obituary of Robert S. Paulter

Paulter, Sr. Robert S. age 86 of Wayne at rest in Wayne on February 15, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Dolores (nee Fossecreta) (1977) and the late Rita (nee Carlone) (2006). Loving Father of Donna Olear and her husband Glenn of Montville and Robert S. Paulter, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Ogdensburg. Dear grandfather of Bob, Ginelle, Stephanie and Jacqulyn. Great grandfather of Bobby, Giovanni and Briella. Brother of Marylou Maita of Paterson, Albert Paulter of Manchester Township and the late Nicholas Paulter and Kathleen Bulwin. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Born in Paterson, he lived in Totowa, Saddle Brook and Toms River before moving to Wayne. He was a Steel Worker for Athenia Steel Co., Clifton for many years. After that, he worked for Hudson City United Bank, Paramus for seven years before retiring in 1998. Mr. Paulter was a member of the Anglers Club, the Bowling Club and the Bocci Club, all of Holiday City Care Free, Toms River. He was a N.Y. Giant and N.Y. Met fan. He loved the Jersey Shore and Atlantic City. He liked to party and loved music. He enjoyed traveling and cherished time with his grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, on Tuesday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may visit Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
