Obituary of Eugene Cascio

Cascio, Eugene age 91 of North Haledon at rest in Paterson on December 25, 2017. Born in Carbondale, Pa. he lived in Paterson before moving to North Haledon in 1964. Mr. Cascio was the owner of MC Limousine Company, North Haledon and was the former owner of Sterling Casket Co., Paterson. He previously was a millwright for Ford Motor Company, Mahwah. He also owned Aterbor Textiles, Paterson, and Lehigh Auto Wreckers, Paterson. Mr. Cascio was a member of the Fidelians, North Haledon. He was the most hardworking, honest, friendly and compassionate man. "To Know Him Was To Love Him." Beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Antoci) Cascio. Loving father of Anna Marie Giannella & her husband, Alfred of Mathews, NC, Lorraine Van Tassel & her husband Roy, Jr. of Mooresville, NC, and Eugene Cascio of North Haledon. Devoted grandfather of Roy Van Tassell III & his wife Daniele, David Van Tassel & his wife Jennifer, Stephen Giannella and Gina Qasim & her husband Zaheem. Dear great grandfather of Eva Qasim, Karly Qasim, Victoria Van Tassel, David Van Tassel, Abigail Van Tassel and Grace Van Tassel. Brother of the late Frank and Joseph Cascio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Saturday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. Mary's RC Church, Paterson at 10:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit Friday 4-8 PM.
