Crane, Robert J. age 80 of Paterson at rest in Wayne on October 12, 2017. Beloved husband of the former Theresa Gorman of Paterson. Loving Father of Karen L. Crane of Little Falls, Robert J. Crane, Jr. of Paterson and Joseph M. Crane and his wife Christine of Elmwood Park. Dear grandfather of John A. Crane and Nicholas Crane. Brother of Helen Haddad of North Carolina. He is also leaving behind several nieces and nephews, his beloved pet dog, Daisy and parakeet, Blue. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident. He was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office, Paterson, for thirty six years before retiring in 1992. Mr. Crane was a parishioner of St. Gerard R.C. Church, Paterson. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He loved to garden. He was a N.Y. Mets and N.Y. Giants fan. He cherished time spent with his family. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside chapel service at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, N.J. on Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Arrangements are entrusted to Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa.
