Obituary of William P Pohlman

Pohlman, William P. Sr. age 87 of Totowa at rest in Wayne on November 27, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Blanche (nee Wright). Loving father of Jack Pohlman & his wife, Tina of Totowa, William Pohlman Jr. & his wife Lina of Totowa and Todd Pohlman & his wife, Renee of Totowa. Devoted grandfather of Jake & Jack. Also survived by Nic, Mia, Noelle, Nina, Rachel, Lianna, Daniella, Alberto, Willem, Harrison, Delilah, and Francesca. Born in Paterson, he was a lifelong resident of Totowa. Bill was the owner/operator of Pohlman's Service Center, Totowa since 1957. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion Post #227, Totowa. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Mountain View, Wayne. He was an avid Giants fan and loved vacationing and the beach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the services at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd, Totowa, on Thursday at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Friends may visit Wednesday 3:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, NJ Division Inc., Bergen County Unit, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
