Diaz, Nidia (nee Inoa), age 85 of Paterson at rest in Pequannock on November 24, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Pascual Diaz (1973). Loving mother of Rafaela Munoz of Paterson, Elvira Diaz of Paterson, Maria La Rosa of Palm Desert, CA, Carmen Diaz of Pequannock, Carlos Diaz of Pennsauken, Fausto Diaz of Kissimee, FL and Jose Diaz of Lincoln Park. Caring sister of Aurora Rodriguez of Lyndhurst, Maria Cristiana of Bronx, NY, Thelma Salcedo of Dominican Republic and Frank Inoa of Wilkes Barre, PA. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Born in Santiago, Dominican Republic, she lived there for 19 years before moving to Paterson. She was a homemaker and parishioner of St. John's Cathedral, Paterson. She was the matriarch of her family and extended family. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass at the Bishop Rodimer Center at St. John's Cathedral, Paterson, on Monday at 10:00 AM. A memorial gathering will take place on Sunday from Sunday 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Festa Memorial Funeral Home 111 Union Blvd., Totowa. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
